A renewed chapter

Casa Montessori Richmond is entering a renewed chapter under new ownership. Our commitment is simple and wholehearted: warm relationships, open and honest communication, and consistent, high-quality Montessori education — so every family feels genuinely supported, from the very first visit.

We’d love to welcome you, show you around, and introduce you to the team.

Welcome to Casa

More than childcare — a home away from home.

Families often tell us Casa feels less like a facility their child is dropped at, and more like a place their child belongs. It’s a warm, home-like environment where every child is loved, seen and supported to grow at their own pace — with a caring team who take the time to really know each child.

Our languages

The languages children breathe all day.

Around 80% of our families are already multilingual. Rather than a special class on the timetable, language here is simply the air of the place — Spanish, English, French and Italian, spoken naturally by educators who grew up speaking them. Children absorb it the way Montessori says they absorb everything: through real immersion, not instruction.

Children learning together with native-speaking educators at Casa Montessori

Our Montessori approach

Authentic Montessori, with genuine materials.

Casa stays true to the method developed by Dr Maria Montessori — genuine materials rather than plastic substitutes, used by educators trained to use them. Children pour their own water, choose their own work and dress themselves, building the independence and confidence that make starting Reception feel easy.

In parents’ words

What families tell us.

In their own words, from families who have walked through our door.

“Very Welcoming”

Hello Carolina, it is rare for my wife and I to walk in through the door of anywhere, let alone a nursery, and feel ‘that feeling’ that all parts of us are welcome. And we both felt from you that when we visited Casa Montessori the other day. This is so important to both of us, for our child's sake, so we would therefore love to enrol her at the nursery.

“Happy & Proud”

Firstly, thank you for being such a wonderful teacher to our daughter this year. She has grown and flourished with your guidance and care. You have been an amazing first teacher to her. My husband and I left so happy and proud of her accomplishments. We know we did the right thing by starting her learning journey at Casa Montessori.

“A Huge Difference”

I wanted to tell you how much we appreciated the teacher evening. You and all the other teachers put in such a lot of work and it really did shine during that evening. The special photo books were also a great reminder of the specialised attention all the children get. What a huge difference from our previous preschool!

“You are outstanding”

I am happy to hear that they recognise your brilliant work and the wonderful environment you provide. However I am fascinated to know what can possibly constitute being labeled as outstanding. I cannot imagine a better place for young children to spend their early years than Casa. I think you are outstanding!

“Always grateful”

Thank you so much for making D.'s journey at Casa Montessori very special. We will always be grateful, with all the beautiful gifts we got as a family. D. will always remember his happy place. I am not very good with words but thank you for being fantastic and special. No doubt Casa will continue to thrive with your leadership. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!

“Amazing experiences”

I don’t know how we are going to part with Casa — we may need another child just to go through all these amazing experiences again. I genuinely refuse to even think about it for now.
