Casa is set in a characterful hall over a hundred years old, first given to the Richmond Scouts in the early twentieth century — high ceilings, big windows and natural light all day long.

A calm, prepared environment.
Casa Montessori Richmond is hosted in a beautiful 100-year-old hall donated by Lady Arsher’s to the Richmond Scouts at the beginning of the 20th century. With its high ceilings and immense windows, the hall is filled with light — the perfect backdrop for Montessori learning.
Every part of the space has been thoughtfully arranged to be calm and ordered, so each material has its place and children can navigate independently, at their own pace. It’s a setting designed to feel less like a facility and more like a home: warm, unhurried, and made for exploration.

Two gardens, two kinds of play.
We’re fortunate to have two outdoor areas, each designed to inspire a different kind of exploration.
The front garden
A spacious garden ideal for active play and group activities — room to run, climb and balance, complementing the quieter indoor work.
The rear garden
A smaller, more intimate space with a mud kitchen and a sandpit — perfect for messy, sensory and imaginative outdoor play.
