A Day at Casa
A glimpse into a typical day in our Montessori environment
-
8:00 – 9:00 am
Welcome
Staff greet children and their carers at the door. Children are encouraged to take off their coats and hats and hang them on their individual pegs, labelled with their name and picture — a small but meaningful act of independence to start the day.
-
Morning
Montessori Work Cycle
Children choose activities from shelves carefully prepared by our qualified Montessori teachers. Activities span numeracy, literacy, culture, practical life, role play, the book corner, construction, art, and outdoor learning — each designed to invite curiosity and self-directed discovery.
-
Throughout the Morning
Free Flow
Our Montessori approach allows a free-flow environment where children choose to be inside or outside at any time. This freedom of movement supports self-regulation and lets each child follow their own natural rhythm of activity and rest.
-
All Day
Language Immersion
Casa has a multilingual approach: children hear our languages throughout the entire day — English, French, Spanish, and Italian. Native-speaking teachers follow each child's interests to naturally expose them to multiple languages in context.

During the Week

We offer exciting extra-curricular activities woven into the weekly rhythm: Music Club with Mini Jam, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with Tiny Jitz, Yoga, Forest School at Pensford Field, and Cooking. Learn more about our clubs.
