We welcome EYFS funded childcare — both 15 and 30 hours — covering your core childcare hours.
Additional hours
Any hours beyond your funded entitlement are billed at £12 per hour for children aged 2+, or £15 per hour for under‑2s.
When funding starts
Children become eligible for funded hours from the term after they turn two.

How this calculator works
Age & hourly rate
Children are eligible from the term after turning 2. Non‑funded hours are billed at £12/hr (2+) or £15/hr (under 2).
Billing model
38 weeks per year ÷ 3 terms. Termly cost = weekly total × 38 ÷ 3.
Funded hours
EYFS funding covers basic childcare hours. Extras (meals, activities, consumables) must be itemised separately and cannot be bundled into funded hours. Funding is allocated sequentially Monday → Friday, within each day in time order (8–9, 9–12, 12–3, 3–5).
Extras (funded days only)
Breakfast £3.75/day · Snacks £2.15–3.25/day · Lunch meal £7/day (if 12–3 funded) · Consumables £3.25–4.85/day · Specialist & Montessori activities £7/day.
How extras are calculated
Extras apply to funded attendance only. Parent‑paid hours are private hours where extras are included. Snacks & consumables: 0–1 funded hrs = £0, 2–<3 = half rate, ≥3 = full rate (9am–5pm hours only). Lunch charged only if 12–3 is funded. Activities charged if any 9am–5pm hour is funded.

How much does Casa Montessori cost?
Additional (non-funded) hours are £12 per hour for children aged 2 and over. Many families use 15 or 30 funded hours for their core hours and pay only for extra hours plus itemised extras. Do you accept 15 and 30 funded hours?
Yes — Casa accepts both 15 and 30 hours of EYFS funding. Funding covers basic childcare hours; extras such as meals and activities are itemised separately.
When is my child eligible for funding?
From the term after your child turns 2, subject to the usual EYFS eligibility rules.
What extras are charged on funded days?
Breakfast (£3.75/day), snacks (£2.15–3.25/day), a lunch meal (£7/day if 12–3 is funded), consumables (£3.25–4.85/day) and specialist & Montessori activities (£7/day).
How are fees billed?
Termly. The annual cost is spread over 38 weeks across three terms, so each termly invoice is your weekly total × 38 ÷ 3.
