Casa Montessori Richmond

23 Marksbury Avenue
Richmond, TW9 4JE

Between Richmond and Kew, near North Sheen Recreation Area.

The Hall

Casa Montessori Richmond is hosted in a beautiful 100-year-old hall donated by Lady Arsher's to the Richmond Scouts at the beginning of the 20th Century. With high ceilings and immense windows, it is filled with natural light throughout the day — the perfect backdrop for Montessori learning.

The space has been thoughtfully arranged to create a calm, ordered environment where every material has its place and children can navigate independently at their own pace.

Outdoor Spaces

We are fortunate to have two beautiful outdoor areas, each designed to inspire a different kind of exploration.

Front Garden

A spacious garden at the front of the building, ideal for active play and group activities. Children have room to run, balance, and engage in physical learning that complements their indoor work.

Back Garden

A smaller, more intimate space at the rear featuring a mud kitchen and a sandpit. Perfect for imaginative play and sensory exploration — children love digging, pouring, and creating in this hands-on environment.
